- Friday we drove to Portland early in the morning to meet my family at the Portland airport. This is the big day our family has been waiting for - Maleah is finally home! It was such an unbelievably amazing experience to see this forever family joined at last. Tears? Of course! It was emotionally overwhelming. Maleah is amazing! According to her mom and dad, she did amazing on the flight. She handled our crazy family incredibly well. She is so smiley and so happy and we are so in love! She just turned 7 months old.
The big brothers!
Forever Family united!
Maleah and Mommy
Maleah - You are such a blessing in our lives! We LOVE YOU!

2. To save money on hotel expenses, some wonderful friends of ours offered to let us stay at their house. They are the best hostesess EVER! They spoiled us far more than we deserve, but we are so appreciative of their hospitality! We finally got to spend some great time together with our few days there. We went to the park, we went shopping, we went out for dinner, we watched a movie, and we played and played and played. They have a 4 year old and a 6 year old who Monkey absolutely adores! Thank you guys - we mean it whole heartedly!
4. TODAY I met our nephew for the first time (Hubs was at work)! Hubby's oldest brother is in the military in Germany and since we've last seen him (when I was 6 months pregnant) he has married his sweetheart and they have had a baby boy - Caleb! So my father-in-law picked Monkey and I up this morning and we headed to the SEATTLE airport to pick them up! Caleb is now 7 1/2 months old and CUTE AS A BUTTON! Can't wait to spend some time with them this week!
